Chanel Pre Fall 2011 Preview Show release...

Karl Lagerfeld head designer of the trendsetting fashion house Chanel has release its Pre Fall 2011 Preview Show! The Paris-Byzance collection was shown in Paris on December 7, 2010. The pre-looks revealed bead work, heavy jewelry & embellishments, crowns, and metallic & luster-shined fabrics. All the models walk down with flat sandals, effortless but pretty hair styles, and the make up and runway was staged like the times of the Roman Byzantine Empire. From this review I must say the heavy jewelry really stood out and was extremely beautiful I'm awaiting to see what comes from this Pre-Fall Show.  Review some of the looks below...
Heavy Jewelry was extremely breath taking.

The Skirt...not only for the woman anymore

Givenchy 2011 S/S Skirt for men

The skirt for a man was a hot fashion piece in the 18th century. Who would have thought in the 21st century it would be recreated? My review of the 2011 Fashion Week Runway Shows there were heavily filled with what I call the "Man Skirt".  Male skirts have been accepted by many designers this Spring/Summer season like Givenchy, Emporio Armani, Calvin Klein, Ann Demeulemeester, Vivienne Westwood and Commes des Garcons just to name few.  Although, in this time of age the skirt is a feminine item and psychologically only worn by a woman and by men for culture purposes.  However, the heighten in men's fashion says no way lets add this fashion piece for the modern male. I think the "Man Skirt" is a barrier break for a man to express their confidence in fashion, his own style, and sexuality. In today's world that is more accepting I think the skirt for a man will be worn by more then the homosexual male, especially with the growing numbers of heterosexual men in fashion and return of the Metrosexual! Reveiw some of the different men skirts below...

Men looks for Spring/Summer 2011

D&G 2011 Spring/Summer Looks

The 2011 Spring/Summer season will the most fashionable season for men! From the looks of it men fashion will be 90's Prep look, 70's Fusion, and back to the time of rugged outback! D&G kept it preppy with a print. Top Man Clothing and H&M add a modern rugged outdoor to there prep looks. Roberto Cavalli 2011 line had 70's hippy tie-dye effect while Marc Jacobs fused the 70's and 90's together. Givenchy look is definitely the look for the more dressy high fashion gentlemen the mix of women Fall animal prints and lace made this look romantic. I am excited to see what trends develops from the many options of Spring/Summer 2011 for the guys! Review the looks below!

Fashion return to Disco...S/S 2011

From Left to Right : 2011 Spring/Summer Trends by Marc Jacobs, Jason Wu, Thakoon, and Rodarte.
For Spring/Summer 2011 are we looking for the return of the Disco! Big hair don't care...Shining like a diamond because they are forever. I am glad to see the rebirth of the 70's prints, sequences, and satins. Why not? The soft return of the 70's in fashion let us know that we are leaving the dark economic disaster. The 70's was a time of peace, happiness, love, and togetherness.  Designers like Marc Jacobs, Jason Wu, Takoon and Rodarte kept it modern and groovy of course in their 2011 Spring/Summer lines! Personally, I am more then happy to see prints I was getting a little bored of the bright solid edgy colors of the 80's. *Finger cross...Maybe 2011 will be the year we say good bye to the 80's fashions and the skinny jeans!!!

The LBD's of 2010...the ones I thought were hot

Audrey Hepburn in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" in Givenchy's Little Black Dress that really started the classic
Ladies probably still have their first "LBD" (Little Black Dress) yes that's what Oxford Dictionary labeled it when they added the classic fashion piece to their 3rd edition in August 2010. Unfortunately, like your colored dresses the LBD is the one dress that never gets old and does not have a season.  Ladies if you have one in your wardrobe then it's sure to be a keeper!!!  Something you can change up with a belt, shawl, or shoe!!! Here are my favorites of 2010!

#10-Blake Lively in Antonio Berardi

#9-Jennifer Hudson in Victoria Beckham
#8-Jessica Stam in Lavin for H&M
#7-Natalie Portman in Lavin for H&M

#6-Ciara in Craven

#5-Zoe Saldana in Balmain

#4-Eva Logoria in Georges Hobeika
#3-Rihanna in Dior
#2-Zoe Saldana in Vionnet
#1-Gwyneth Paltrow in Ralph Rucci
