Marc Jacobs may be the replacement for John Galliano at Dior.

Nothing is set in stone yet, but the rumors are flying in the fashion world that Marc Jacobs who has been Louis Vuitton Creative Director since 1997 may be leaving to fill the John Galliano place at the fashion house of Dior.  Gallliano, who was suspended after his arrest in February 2011 for racial slurs and conflict in a bar in Paris and then was let go by the mega fashion house in March 2011 after video leaks of his chants "I love Hitler" was publicized to the world.

If Jacobs leaves LV, word has it that Phoebe Philo creative director of Céline will be more than delighted to replace Jacobs!  I am excited about the change that Jacobs may bring to Dior! However, I am worried that he may lose the brand if he takes the classic feel away.
